Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical fitting, installation, assembly, and maintenance activities.
• Dismantle, inspect, repair, align, and reinstall mechanical equipment.
• Work on pumps, pipelines, valves, structures, and other industrial equipment.
• Carry out equipment alignment and assembly as per technical requirements.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely.
• Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Support planned shutdown, startup, and overhaul activities.
• Identify equipment abnormalities and report them to supervisors.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, welders, and other maintenance personnel.
• Maintain proper housekeeping at the worksite.
• Follow safety procedures, work permits, PPE requirements, and company SOPs.
• Complete assigned work within specified quality and project timelines.

Required Qualifications

• ITI – Fitter or relevant technical qualification preferred.
• Relevant experience in mechanical fitting or industrial maintenance.
• Knowledge of mechanical tools, equipment, and fitting practices.
• Basic understanding of measurements, alignment, and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to work in an industrial/power plant environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in thermal power plants, steel plants, EPC projects, or industrial maintenance.
• Experience in plant shutdown and annual overhaul activities.
• Knowledge of pumps, pipelines, valves, boiler auxiliaries, and other mechanical equipment.
• Experience working under strict project timelines will be an advantage.
