Munn Engineers & Developers Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced GEHO Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain GEHO Hydraulic Piston Pump systems used in industrial and power plant operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient pump operation, conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting operational issues, and maintaining equipment reliability.
This role is critical to ensuring uninterrupted ash handling, slurry transportation, and industrial pumping operations while adhering to the highest safety and operational standards.
Pump Operations
Operate and monitor GEHO Hydraulic Piston Pumps and associated systems.
Ensure smooth startup, operation, and shutdown of pumping equipment.
Monitor pump parameters including pressure, flow rate, temperature, and performance indicators.
Maintain continuous and efficient operation of slurry transportation systems.
Ensure maximum equipment availability and operational efficiency.
Inspection & Maintenance
Conduct routine inspections of pumps, valves, pipelines, and auxiliary equipment.
Identify abnormalities and report equipment issues promptly.
Perform preventive maintenance activities as per maintenance schedules.
Assist maintenance teams during planned shutdowns and breakdown maintenance.
Ensure proper lubrication and housekeeping around equipment.
Troubleshooting
Diagnose operational problems and equipment malfunctions.
Assist in resolving pump performance issues and system failures.
Monitor wear and tear of critical components and recommend corrective actions.
Support maintenance personnel during repair and overhaul activities.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all plant safety rules, permit systems, and standard operating procedures.
Ensure compliance with environmental, operational, and safety standards.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Report unsafe conditions, near misses, and safety observations promptly.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain daily operational logs and shift reports.
Record pump performance data and operating parameters.
Prepare inspection and maintenance reports.
Communicate operational status to supervisors and maintenance teams.
Team Coordination
Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and engineering departments.
Support shutdown, startup, and commissioning activities.
Participate in safety meetings and operational reviews.
Assist in achieving plant reliability and performance targets.
Required Qualifications
Diploma / ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Fitter, or related technical trade.
3–8 years of experience in pump operation and industrial projects.
Experience operating GEHO Pumps, slurry pumps, dewatering pumps, or centrifugal pumps.
Knowledge of hydraulic systems and industrial pumping operations.
Familiarity with maintenance and troubleshooting practices.
Ability to work in rotating shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Thermal Power Plants, Steel Plants, Cement Plants, or Industrial Facilities.
Experience in ash handling and slurry transportation systems.
Knowledge of hydraulic piston pump operations.
Immediate joiners will be preferred.
Basic understanding of maintenance planning and reliability practices.
