Key Responsibilities

• Assist fitters, welders, technicians, and supervisors with daily site activities.
• Handle and shift tools, materials, equipment, and components as instructed.
• Support mechanical maintenance, fabrication, installation, and repair activities.
• Assist during plant shutdown, overhaul, and maintenance operations.
• Help with loading, unloading, stacking, and movement of materials.
• Provide support during cutting, grinding, fitting, and other mechanical activities.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
• Maintain proper housekeeping at the assigned work location.
• Follow instructions provided by supervisors and senior technicians.
• Use PPE and strictly follow site safety procedures.
• Report unsafe conditions, damaged tools, or equipment issues to the supervisor.
• Support the team in completing assigned work safely and within project timelines.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum educational qualification as applicable to the role.
• Previous experience in industrial, construction, mechanical, or power plant work is preferred.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety and tools will be an advantage.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Physically fit and capable of performing site-based duties.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in thermal power plants, steel plants, EPC projects, construction, or industrial maintenance.
• Previous experience supporting mechanical shutdown or maintenance activities.
• Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment.
